Good news from South America lifted a Canadian cannabis stock Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, September 14, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Auxly Cannabis Group Inc. (TSXV:XLY), a Canadian cannabis stock, moved up 6% to $1.35 on Friday after providing an operational update on its operations in Uruguay conducted through its 80% owned holding Inverell S.A., saying that “Inverell is poised to be a dominant player in the production of CBD extract for export in South America with their world-class hemp cultivation and processing assets.”
As well, shares of Emblem Corp. (TSXV:EMC) slipped as much as 4% before closing up 3% to $1.86 as the cannabis producer said it has terminated its letter of intent to acquire Natura Naturals Holdings Inc.
Leonovus Inc. (TSXV:LTV), meanwhile, revealed its Blockchain Evidence Locker, a new product offering that enables law enforcement organizations to address their storage requirements with confidence that their digital evidence remains available and cryptographically-verifiable. The Company added that it is taking customer orders for trials in Q4 2018 and expects full deployment of this solution in Q1 2019. Leonovus stock moved up 19% to $0.19 following the announcement.
