An expanded cannabinoids delivery patent boosted a Canadian cannabis stock Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Revive Therapeutics Ltd. (TSXV:RVV), a Canadian cannabis stock, rose 13% to $0.17 on Wednesday after announcing that it has been granted United States Patent No. 10,104,888, titled “Tannin-chitosan composites,” by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, which expands Revive’s coverage for the delivery of cannabinoids in various delivery routes.

As well, shares of Millennial Lithium Corp. (TSXV:ML) climbed 17% to $1.89 as the lithium junior said it has released an updated lithium and potassium resource statement for its Pastos Grandes brine project in Argentina, which shows 4,120,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent, a nearly 100% increase from its 2017 estimate.

Fintech Select Ltd. (TSXV:FTEC), meanwhile, reported a fiscal 2018 net profit of $765,000 as well as a $1.9 million reduction in its liability. Fintech Select stock moved up 29% to $0.045 following the announcement.
