Minister of Industry, Tourism, Investment and Infrastructure says Northwest Territories is the world’s third-largest diamond producer
In this interview with SmallCapPower at the PDAC 2018 convention, Wally Schumann, Minister of Industry, Tourism and Investment, as well as Infrastructure, for the Northwest Territories (NWT) discusses the importance of mining to Canada’s northern-most region. He says exploration activity in NWT has picked up recently and believes infrastructure investments in the North will provide a substantial boost to Canada’s economy.
