Asante Gold team has found 11 million ounces of gold in Ghana over the last 10 year
At the recent Mines and Money Americas conference in Toronto, SmallCapPower spoke with Asante Gold Corporation (CSE:ASE) CEO Douglas MacQuarrie, who has a long history of success in the gold-rich country of Ghana, West Africa. As the former CEO of PMI Gold Corporation, Mr. MacQuarrie built up assets in Ghana worth $180 million in value, which were then bought by Asanko Gold, a $800 million company. Mr. MacQuarrie talks about the ease of doing business in Ghana and his belief that the country still has lots of exploration upside. He also shares his plans to raise $1 million to use towards an exciting new discovery.
