Production company finds the true value of intellectual property and turns it into profits

At the recent Toronto Capital Conference, SmallCapPower spoke with Colin Wiebe, Chairman, and Gabriel Napora, CEO, of Imagination Park Entertainment Inc., a CSE-listed production company that packages intellectual property to sell to major Hollywood studios. A non-traditional production company, IP believes the true value in film is in owning and controlling intellectual property (hence the trading symbol!). In this interview, Mr. Wiebe and Mr. Napora explain the rationale behind their unique business model and give their take on why the major film studios have to look at original content creation much more seriously. They also give us an example of a project where they turned a $5,000 investment into a $70 million film, netting them incredible profits.
