Callinex Mines Inc. (CVE:CNX), a zinc junior, announced a new discovery at its Pine Bay Project in Manitoba

A discovery that included gold, silver, and copper sparked much speculation in a zinc junior Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Callinex Mines Inc. (CVE:CNX) shares powered 53% higher to $0.55 on Tuesday after the zinc junior announced a new zinc, gold, silver and copper discovery at its Pine Bay Project in Manitoba, which included 10.3 metres grading 13.1% zinc equivalent mineralization.
As well, shares of Heron Resources Limited (TSE:HER) slipped as much as 15% before ending unchanged at $0.13 as the resource project developer said it has provided further assay results from the drilling program recently completed at its wholly-owned Woodlawn Project in Australia, which included 8 metres at 28% zinc equivalent from 107 metres.
Northern Empire Resources Corp. (CVE:NM), meanwhile, reported assay results from rock chip-channel samples collected from the wall of the historically mined Democrat Pit of its Richardson Property in Alaska, which included 5.73 g/t gold and 29.8 g/t silver over a sample length of 32 meters from 98 to 130 meters. Northern Empire Resources stock moved up 24% to $0.18 following the announcement.
Finally, Forum Uranium Corp. (CVE:FDC) shares gained 12% to $0.095 after the uranium explorer announced results from its summer drill program on the road accessible 100% owned Karpinka project in Saskatchewan, which intersected values of up to 87ppm uranium.
