An ‘out of this world’ agreement lifted a tech penny stock Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, July 29, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Tech penny stock UrtheCast Corp. (TSE:UR) shares jumped 14% to $1.00 after announcing that it has signed a strategic partnership with OmniEarth, Inc., in support of UrtheCast’s planned UrtheDaily Constellation, expected to be capable of imaging 140 million square kilometers of the global landmass every day at 5 meters GSD.
As well, shares of Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc. (TSE:ZZZ) rose 11% to $30.20 as the specialty mattress retailer said its second-quarter revenue rose 17.3% to $120.2 million, while adjusted earnings per share for the quarter increased 41.6% to $0.27.
Network Media Group Inc. (CVE:NTE), meanwhile, reported Q2 net income of $395,905, compared with a net loss of $147,499 during the same period last year. Network Media Group stock moved up 25% to $0.25 following the announcement.
