Niobium sample results sparked speculation in a resource junior Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Commerce Resources Corp. (CVE:CCE) shares climbed 8% to $0.07 on Tuesday after the resource junior announced results of a prospecting and sampling program completed on the Eldor Property in Quebec, which included the highest niobium mineralized sample collected to date from the area at 5.9% Nb2O5.
As well, shares of PWC Capital Inc. (TSE:PWC) sank 24% to $0.175 as the financial holding company said it has agreed to merge with VersaBank. PWC shareholders will receive one share of the newly-merged company for every 36.652 PWC common shares held.
Nighthawk Gold Corp. (CVE:NHK), meanwhile, reported initial results from the ongoing 2016 drill program on its Indin Lake Gold Property in the Northwest Territories, which included 52.07 metres of 7.72 g/t gold (uncut). Nighthawk Gold stock moved up 12% to $0.58 following the announcement.
Finally, American Manganese Inc. (CVE:AMY) shares slipped 21% to $0.13 after the diversified specialty and critical metal company announced Phase 2 results on initial precipitation tests, which showed recoveries of up to 91% cobalt and 60% lithium.
