stocks making big moves on Monday, June 29, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST), as

Mapan Energy Ltd. (TSXV:
MPG) shares powered 55% higher to $1.38 on volume of more than 17.4 million
shares Monday after the oil and gas producer/explorer said it has agreed to be
acquired by Tourmaline Oil Corp. (TSX:
TOU) in an all-stock transaction. Mapan shareholders will receive 0.0379 of
a Tourmaline common share for each Mapan share held.
As well,
shares of Russell Breweries Inc. (TSXV:
RB) climbed 17% to $0.07 as the Western Canadian brewer acknowledged that
it has received an unsolicited offer by Premier Diversified Holdings Inc. to
acquire 51% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Russell.
iCo Therapeutics (TSXV:
ICO), meanwhile, reported that Immune
Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:
IMNP) has entered into a definitive license and research agreement with
Yissum, the Technology Transfer Company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem,
to license certain of Yissum’s patents for the development and
commercialization of a topical nano-formulated version of AmiKet, a drug
for the treatment of neuropathic pain. Immune licensed worldwide rights for
systemic indications of bertilimumab from iCo Therapeutics in June 2011. iCo
Therapeutics stock moved up 15% to $0.075 following the announcement.
