Office Furniture Stock Climbs on Financial Results

Inscape (TSE:INQ), an office furniture stock, moved up after announcing a big increase in Q2 sales, revenue

Financials pushed an office furniture stock sharply higher Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, December 9, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):

Office furniture stock Inscape (TSE:INQ) surged 23% to $4.12 on Friday after announcing that its second-quarter sales increased 32% to $27.8 million, while net income for the quarter rose to $1.6 million from $0.6 million.

As well, shares of Sandvine (TSE:SVC) slipped 11% to $2.75 as the provider of network policy control solutions for fixed and mobile operators said fiscal 2016 revenue is expected to be approximately $121 million, as network equipment vendors have been impacted by slowing product revenues from communications service providers.

Edgewater Wireless Systems Inc. (CVE:YFI), meanwhile, reported that it has successfully completed the UpRamp Fiterator program, which is designed to open doors and connect new technologies like Edgewater’s WiFi3 technology to the world’s leading cable operators. Edgewater Wireless stock popped 53% to $0.42 following the announcement.
