Lithium Junior Jumps on Trial Test Results: Canadian Daily Small/Micro Cap Market Movers

Western Lithium USA Corporation (TSX: WLC)
shares climbed 15% to $0.60 on Tuesday after the lithium project developer said
it has produced 99.8% high quality lithium carbonate in its first trial run
while commissioning its demonstration plant in Germany. 

As well,
shares of Junex Inc. (TSXV: JNX)
continued to move higher Tuesday, up 15% to $1.08. On Monday, shares of the oil
and gas explorer operating in Quebec’s Appalachian Basin surged 18% as
the company announced that a steady production rate of 316 barrels of oil per
day was recorded over the most recent five days of its latest phase of
production testing in its Galt No. 4 Horizontal well. This phase started on
February 9, 2014, with the maximum oil production rate over a 24-hour period
since this date attaining 396 BOPD.

Quest Rare Minerals Ltd. (TSX: QRM),
meanwhile, reported what it called “several developments” that strengthen its
capital structure and provide the financial resources needed to proceed with
the Environmental Impact Assessment of its rare earths project, including
financing of $2.5 million in the form of secured convertible notes and payment
of the refundable Québec resource tax credits and mining duty credits for its
fiscal years 2010 to 2012 in the amount of $3,044,818. Quest Rare Minerals
stock popped 22% to $0.195 following the announcement.  

Also, shares
of GuestLogix Inc. (TSX: GXI)
gained 13% to $0.87 after the provider of ancillary-focused merchandising,
payment and business intelligence technology to airlines and the passenger
travel industry said it will be supporting one of its largest customers’
initiative to implement Apple iPhone devices for multi-purpose use by flight attendants
onboard. 

Finally, Minaurum Gold Inc. (TSXV: MGG)
shares rose 23% to $0.08 after the junior explorer announced that it has
entered into a formal access agreement with the community of Huitziltepec at
its Vuelcos del Destino Project in the Guerrero Gold Belt in southern Mexico
that allows Minaurum to acquire federal drill permits.
