Yukon gold tempted a few speculators to take a chance on a junior resource stock Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, January 12, 2017 (as of 11:30 am EST):
Junior resource stock Eureka Resources Inc. (TSXV: EUK) climbed 33% to $0.12 on Thursday after announcing the acquisition of 82 claims located in Klondike Gold Fields in the Yukon Territory, approximately 20 km north east of Goldcorp’s Coffee project.
As well, shares of DragonWave Inc. (TSX: DWI) sank 21% to $3.08 as the global supplier of packet microwave radio systems for mobile and access networks said its third-quarter revenue decreased to $10.2 million from $21.0 million during the same period last year, as the Company cited “operating challenges.”
3tl Technologies Corp. (TSXV: TTM), meanwhile, reported that it has signed two agreements with a leading advertising agency to provide PLATFORM, its Software as a Service (SaaS) consumer marketing platform, and custom development services to execute separate shopper marketing promotions for a leading confectionary brand and a leading pet food brand. 3tl Technologies stock moved up 63% to $0.065 following the announcement.
In addition, shares of Halogen Software (TSX: HGN) jumped 20% to $9.60 as the Cloud-based talent management suite provider said it has received “significant” interest from third parties to acquire the Company.
Finally, Arizona Mining Inc. (TSX: AZ) shares rose 9% to $2.70 after the resource junior announced drill results from five exploration holes on the Taylor zinc-lead-silver sulfide deposit at its 100%-owned Hermosa Project in Arizona, which included a 104-foot thick interval that assayed 22.1% zinc, 14.6% lead, and 5.6 opt silver.
