Record operating and financial results pushed shares of a junior gold miner sharply higher Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, May 22, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Fiore Gold Ltd. (TSXV:F) shares climbed 14% to $0.99 on Friday after the junior gold miner announced operating and financial results for the fiscal second quarter 2020, which showed recorded quarterly revenue of US$19.0 million along with net income of $2.9 million. The Company added that Q2 gold production at its Pan Mine in Nevada increased 38% from its previous quarter to a record 12,085 ounces.

As well, shares of Eyecarrot Innovations Corp. (TSXV:EYC) jumped 38% to $0.235 as the human performance technology company said it has appointed Terry Booth, founder and former CEO of Aurora Cannabis, as the Company’s Executive Chairman.

Clean Air Metals Inc. (TSXV:AIR) stock, meanwhile, began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange on Friday. The Company is exploring for platinum and palladium and is focused on advancing its flagship Thunder Bay North and Escape Lake project in northwestern Ontario.

Finally, MedMira Inc. (TSXV:MIR) shares continued to move higher Friday, up 7% to $0.405 following a 41% gain on Thursday, after announcing that it has completed the registration process and affixed the CE mark to its rapid REVEALCOVID-19™ Total Antibody Test, which the Company claims will provide immediate information to physicians and healthcare providers to assess the total antibody status in patients who have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the virus that causes COVID-19.
