Junior Explorer Surges on Gold Drill Results: Sean Mason’s Canadian Small Cap Market Movers

metals results glistered on Bay Street Monday, while financials boosted a clean
tech play. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, August 17, 2015

Avrupa Minerals Ltd. (TSXV:
AVU
) shares powered 44% higher to $0.13 on Monday after the resource company
announced further drill results from the Peshter Gossan target at the Slivovo
JV project in Kosovo, which included 125 meters of 6.91 g/t gold and 19.19 g/t
silver.  

As well,
shares of Dynasty Metals & Mining
Inc.
(TSX:
DMM
) slid 23% to $0.46 as the miner said its all-in sustaining cash costs
per ounce of gold produced ballooned to US$2,269 in the second quarter of 2015
from $1,646 during the same period last year.

STT Enviro Corp. (TSXV:
STT
), meanwhile,
reported a 124% increase in its second-quarter revenueto $11.2 million, while its net income
for the period jumped 192% to $600,000.
STT Enviro stock moved up as much as 17% before ending unchanged at $0.29 following the announcement. STT is a component company of the Ubika Sustainability 20 (see the entire index here).
