Small
stocks making big moves on Thursday, May 7, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST), as

Copper Fox Metals Inc. (TSXV:
CUU) shares jumped 13% to $0.18 on Thursday after the copper explorer and
project developer provided an update on its 25% interest in the Schaft
Creek copper-gold-molybdenum-silver Joint Venture with Teck Resources in British
Columbia, which included a diamond drilling program on the LaCasse zone that is
expected to begin on or before the end of June 2015.
As well,
shares of TransGlobe Energy Corporation
(TSX:
TGL) slipped 10% to $4.97 as the oil exploration and production company concentrated
primarily in Egypt said it has swung to a first-quarter loss of $11.2 million.
CO2 Solutions Inc. (TSXV:
CST) stock, meanwhile, continued to move higher Thursday, up 5% to $0.22.
On Wednesday, shares of the provider of enzyme-enabled carbon capture technology gained
17% after the company reported that it has brought forward operation of its 10
tonne per day (tpd) carbon capture demonstration project, in order to pursue
commercial opportunities.
Finally,
shares of Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. (TSX: TCM) were down 6% to $1.48 after the copper,
gold, and moly miner announced that its first-quarter revenue fell to $123
million from $161 million, while its net loss for the period widened to $87.2
million from $39.1 million.
