Quantum International Income Corp. (TSXV:
QIC) shares jumped 21% to $0.485 on Friday after the healthcare company that
delivers integrated health solutions said it has signed a definitive agreement to
acquire Columbus Hospital LTACH, LLC, a company operating a long term acute
care hospital in New Jersey. The LTACH is currently running on a four-month
unaudited annualized basis of approximately US$40 million in revenue with about
US$13.5 million of EBITDA.
As well,
shares of Temple Hotels Inc. (TSX:
TPH) rose 10% to $2.95 as Morguard Corporation announced that it has
acquired 986,473 common shares of Temple between May 8, 2015 and June 10, 2015
, at a weighted average price of approximately $2.48 per common share,
increasing its ownership stake in the company to 12%.
Eureka Resources Inc. (TSXV:
EUK), meanwhile, reported that significant changes have been made to its Board
of Directors and management team. Eureka is developing the Frasergold Project
in British Columbia. It stock price moved up 90% to $0.095 following the announcement.
