Gran Colombia Gold Corp. (TSE:GCM), a gold mining junior, moved up after announcing an increase in its third-quarter production

A production bump lifted shares of a gold mining junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Gran Colombia Gold Corp. (TSE:GCM) shares jumped 5% to $0.11 on Wednesday after the gold mining junior announced that its third-quarter production increased 14% to 39,111 gold ounces.
As well, shares of Grenville Strategic Royalty Corp. (CVE:GRC) slid 16% to $0.16 as the royalty company said it has decided to suspend its existing dividend until further notice and has secured two new partners that will co-invest alongside Grenville as joint venture partners on new investments.
RT Minerals Corp. (CVE:RTM), meanwhile, reported the completion of its core drilling program at Ballard Lake, in which the first two holes intersected mineralization and alteration similar to gold-bearing structures mapped on surface. RT Minerals stock moved up as much as 10% before ending unchanged at $0.10 following the announcement.
Finally, LiCo Energy Metals Inc. (CVE:LIC) shares climbed 29% to $0.20 after the junior explorer announced that it is set to be begin exploration on the Teledyne cobalt/silver property in Cobalt, Ontario.
