Gold survey results pointed to something potentially good Tuesday, while cost overruns weighed on a clean tech play. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Typhoon Exploration Inc. (TSXV: TYP) shares climbed 50% to $0.06 on Tuesday after the resource junior announced results from a first OreVision test survey completed on its 51% owned Aiguebelle-Goldfields property in Quebec, which the Company claims shows “two, clear, ready-to-drill anomalies.”
As well, shares of Orbite Technologies Inc. (TSX: ORT) slid 20% to $0.24 as the clean tech company said capital costs at its high-purity alumina production plant in Québec must be increased by approximately $9.9 million and that its current financial resources are insufficient to cover these additional expenditures.
Western Lithium USA Corporation’s (TSX: WLC) stock price, meanwhile, moved up 10% to $0.55 following a Reuters report on lithium production in South America, which quoted Company CEO Tom Hodgson.
Finally, Graphene 3D Lab Inc. (TSXV: GGG) shares powered 50% higher to $0.48 after the maker of graphene composites and coatings announced that it will be exhibiting some of its recently-developed products, including a graphene-based flexible organic Light Emitting Device (LED), at the American Physical Society March Meeting.
