Gold Explorer Shines on Assay Results

Assays sparked a bit of speculation in a gold explorer Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):

Satori Resources Inc. (CVE:BUD) shares climbed 36% to $0.15 on Wednesday after the gold explorer announced assay results from the Tartan Lake Gold Mine Project in Manitoba, which included 10.88 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 13.1 metres and 9.99 g/t gold over 11.2 metres outside the known mineral resource boundary.

As well, shares of Ultra Lithium Inc. (CVE:ULI) powered 25% higher to $0.20 as the lithium junior said it has signed an agreement with Metron Capital Corp. to option 100 of the Company’s 659 Big Smoky Valley brine lithium claims in Nevada, in return for cash, Metron stock, and exploration expenditures over a three-year period.

Graphite One Resources Inc. (CVE:GPH), meanwhile, provided an update on the development of its Graphite Creek Project in Alaska, adding that the inaugural Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) is expected to be released in January 2017. Graphite One stock moved up 6% to $0.095 following the announcement.

Finally, ProMIS Neurosciences (TSE:PMN) shares rose 24% to $0.18 after the biotech company announced the validated monoclonal antibody therapeutic candidates it is developing for Alzheimer’s disease inhibited the direct neurotoxic effect of prion-like forms of Amyloid beta in vitro.
