EnGold Mines Ltd. (TSXV: EGM), a gold copper explorer, jumped after announcing a potential new discovery at its Lac La Hache Property in British Columbia
A potential new discovery boosted a gold copper explorer Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, February 23, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
EnGold Mines Ltd. (TSXV: EGM) shares climbed 32% to $0.225 on Thursday after the gold copper explorer announced that the first drill hole of its 2017 campaign, collared in an area of its 100% owned Lac La Hache Property in British Columbia with no previous drilling, has encountered a 27 metre intercept of what the Company calls “intensely mineralized material,” that its geologists have identified as skarn-type copper-magnetite.
As well, shares of Redknee Solutions Inc. (TSX: RKN) slipped 14% to $1.20 as the provider of monetization and subscriber management solutions said its Board has approved a new strategic plan “intended to create a strong platform for long-term growth, simplified operations, and sustained profitability,” which will require a restructuring charge of US$60 million that is expected to be financed through an equity raise in the form of a public issue or rights offering.
Halogen Software Inc. (TSX: HGN), meanwhile, reported that it has agreed to be acquired by Saba Software Inc. for C$12.50 per share in cash. Halogen Software stock popped 22% to $12.37 following the announcement.
Finally, Spectral Medical Inc. (TSX: EDT) shares powered 38% higher to $0.33 after the biotech company announced that it plans to file the fourth of four modules of its premarket approval application (PMA) submission, containing the clinical study report, with the FDA for Toraymyxin, to treat patients with endotoxemic septic shock using a medical device, early in the second quarter of this year.
