Garibaldi Resources Corp. (CVE:GGI) boosts its landholdings in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle

Some speculators jumped into a ‘golden’ penny stock opportunity Wednesday, while two equity financings were well received. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Garibaldi Resources Corp. (CVE:GGI) shares climbed 20% to $0.09 on Wednesday after the mineral exploration company announced that it has increased its landholdings in northwest British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, which hosts the Valley of the Kings mine, by nearly 10-fold.
As well, shares of IC Potash Corp. (TSE:ICP) rose 18% to $0.065 as the potash project developer said it intends to raise up to $825,000 at a price of $0.045 per unit.
Critical Elements Corporation (CVE:CRE), meanwhile, reported that it has entered into an agreement to sell 14 million common shares on a bought deal private placement basis at a price of $0.37 per share for gross proceeds of C$5.18 million. Critical Elements stock moved up 5% to $0.40 following the announcement.
