Improved cash flow was good news for shareholders of an energy junior Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, August 5, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
Lightstream Resources Ltd. (TSE:LTS) shares surged 22% to $0.14 on Friday after the energy junior announced that its second quarter 2016 financial results improved over the first quarter due to higher oil prices and lower production expenses, as funds flow from operations for the quarter was $3.8 million, compared to a deficit of $10.6 million in the first quarter.
As well, shares of Sierra Wireless, Inc. (TSE:SW) slid 18% to $18.33 as the wireless solutions provider said its short-term outlook is more cautious as the Company is seeing signs of softer short-term demand and tighter inventory management with some established OEM customers and programs.
BCGold Corp. (CVE:BCG), meanwhile, reported that it has received TSX Venture Exchange approval and has closed its previously-announced Peru Transaction, in which it has acquired 100% interest in the Chanape and Pucacorral gold/silver properties. BCGold Corp. stock moved up 50% to $0.075 following the announcement.
