Cobalt Junior Powers Higher on Production Milestone

A battery grade cobalt announcement boosted shares of a cobalt junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 (as of 11:30 am EST):

First Cobalt Corp. (TSXV:FCC) shares jumped 42% to $0.22 on Wednesday after the cobalt junior announced that it has successfully produced a battery grade cobalt sulfate using the First Cobalt Refinery flowsheet.

As well, shares of LGC Capital Ltd. (TSXV:LG) climbed 35% to $0.115 as the cannabis investment company said it has added four new members to its executive team, which combined bring more than 90 years of experience working for companies including British American Tobacco and Monsanto.

Emerald Health Therapeutics, Inc. (TSXV:EMH), meanwhile, reported that it has signed a letter of intent to supply cannabis to the Société Québécoise du Cannabis (SQDC), Quebec’s sole legal distributor of recreational cannabis. Emerald Health Therapeutics stock moved up 6% to $4.39 following the announcement.

Finally, Arctic Star Exploration Corp. (TSXV:ADD) shares rose 12% to $0.095 after the diamonds explorer announced that exploration has begun at its 100% owned Timantti Project located in Finland.
