Small
stocks making big moves on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST), as

Hydrogenics Corporation (TSX:
HYG) shares surged 23% to $13.90 on Wednesday after the developer and
manufacturer of hydrogen generation and hydrogen-based power modules announced
that it has signed a 10-year exclusive agreement to supply Alstom Transport
with hydrogen fuel cell systems for Regional Commuter Trains in Europe. The
agreement is valued at more than €50 million.
As well,
shares of Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. (TSX:
LEG) slipped 9% to $2.67 as the oil and gas producer said it has agreed to
be acquired by Crescent Point Energy Inc. in a stock and debt deal valued at
about C$1.53 billion.
CO2 Solutions Inc. (TSXV:
CST), meanwhile, reported that it intends to complete an offering by way of
a private placement for gross proceeds of between $3 million and
$5 million at a price of $0.25 per unit. CO2 Solutions stock
eased 15% to $0.255 following the announcement.
NTG Clarity Networks Inc. (TSXV:
NCI) shares jumped 13% to $0.395 after the networking solutions provider announced
first-quarter revenue that increased 71% to $5.0 million, while net income for
the period surged 257% to $722,489.
