BriaCell Shares Get Attention After NASDAQ Listing Talk

An investment and possible stock listing upgrade boosted a biotech name Friday, while interest in certain lithium juniors continued. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, April 22, 2016 (as of 4 pm EST):
BriaCell Therapeutics Corp. (CVE:BCT) shares climbed 10% to $0.215 on Friday after the immuno-oncology biotechnology company announced that it has entered into a subscription agreement with a leading U.S. biotechnology fund for an investment of C$650,000, and plans to seek an up-listing onto the NASDAQ.
As well, shares of Marathon Gold Corporation (TSE:MOZ) slipped 14% to $0.22 as the gold project developer said it has entered into an agreement for a flow-through share financing at a price of $0.27 per share for gross proceeds of $2,000,140.
Benton Resources Inc. (CVE:BEX), meanwhile, reported that it has filed a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) on its Cape Ray gold project in Newfoundland, which estimates a pre-tax net present value of $48.4 million, at a 7% discount rate, with a pre-tax internal rate of return of 29%. Benton Resources stock moved up as much as 10% before ending unchanged at $0.05 following the announcement.
Finally, Levon Resources Ltd. (TSE:LVN) shares jumped 4% to $0.28 after the company announced that it has acquired ownership and control of three million common shares of Great Thunder Gold Corp. (CVE:GTG) at a deemed price of $0.05 per share, as consideration for the sale by Levon to the Issuer of Levon’s 50% interest in the BRX Property in British Columbia. Great Thunder Gold recently said it will purchase four mineral claims adjoining Nemaska Lithium Inc.’s Whabouchi Property in Quebec.
