The Ubika Mining 20 index (UM20) slipped 6.4% during the past month,
compared with a 0.9% slide for the TSX Mining Index and a 1.4% increase
in the TSX Venture. Ivanhoe Mines (TSX: IVN) was the top-performing component company this month, rising 9.2%
on investor optimism of a copper-price recovery.
