Blue Moon Zinc Corp. (TSXV:MOON), a zinc explorer, rose after announcing that it has received all necessary drill permits for its Blue Moon Zinc Deposit
A permitting announcement was good news for shareholders of a zinc explorer Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, July 20, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
Blue Moon Zinc Corp. (TSXV:MOON) shares shot up 13% to $0.09 on Friday after the zinc explorer announced that it has received all necessary drill permits for the planned exploration and development programs at its Blue Moon Zinc Deposit in California.
As well, shares of Aimia Inc. (TSX:AIM) jumped 18% to $2.72 as the marketing and loyalty analytics provider unveiled further details of the future Aeroplan program, which will offer increased flexibility and an improved member experience.
Prophecy Development Corp. (TSX:PCY), meanwhile, reported that it intends to split its issued and outstanding common shares on the basis of 10 new shares for every 1 old share outstanding, which the Company hopes will enhance trading liquidity. Prophecy Development stock moved up 23% to $2.30 following the announcement.
Finally, Advance Gold Corp. (TSXV:AAX) shares sank 39% to $0.24 after the precious metals explorer announced the completion of Phase 1 drilling at the Tabasquena Silver mine in Mexico, with results that included 1.70 metres grading 9.46 g/t gold.
