Video Production Stock Soars on Google Expansion: Sean Mason’s Canadian Small Cap Market Movers

Google Inc. news helped power shares of a video production pioneer Tuesday while gold
drill results glistered. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, September
22, 2015 (as of 4 pm EST):

VidWrx (TSXV:
VID
) shares surged 39% to $0.125 on volume of more than 8.3 million shares
Tuesday after the provider of scalable cloud-based video production solutions
announced the expansion of its Video Ad Production Incentive Program for Google
Partners available to over 5,000 Google Partners across North America.

As well,
shares of Strad Energy Services Ltd.
(TSX:
SDY
) gained 12% to $2.90 as the energy services company said Total Energy
Services Inc. has made an unsolicited takeover bid for all of the outstanding
shares of the company for a total consideration of C$108.3 million, or $2.90
per share in cash.

Metanor Resources Inc. (TSXV:
MTO
), meanwhile, reported drill results from an area surrounding the
Bachelor Mine in Quebec, which included 10.1 g/t gold over 26.2 meters near
surface. Metanor Resources stock moved up 22% to $0.055 following the
announcement.

Finally, Pacific Iron Ore Corporation (TSXV: POC) shares jumped 123% to $0.29 after the resource
project developer announced that it has entered into an agreement with privately-held
St. Anthony Exploration and Mining Ltd. pursuant to which POC has agreed to
sell all of its interests in the St. Anthony’s gold project as well as its
other Ontario properties containing copper and lithium all located within the
Kenora Patricia mining district in the Province of Ontario. The terms of the
agreement are an all-cash payment of $3.5 million along with a 2% Net Smelter
Royalty less the payment of existing royalties.
