A move into the rare earth space generated interest in shares of a uranium miner Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
Energy Fuels Inc. (TSX:EFR) shares surged 19% to $2.15 on Tuesday after the uranium miner announced its entry into the Rare Earth Element sector by utilizing its licensed and constructed White Mesa Mill in Utah.
As well, shares of Organigram Holdings Inc. (TSX:OGI) slipped 12% to $2.22 as the Canadian cannabis company said its second-quarter 2020 net revenue fell 14% to $23.2 million.
Spectral Medical Inc. (TSX:EDT), meanwhile, reported that the United States Federal Food and Drug Agency (FDA) has approved a supplemental Investigational Device Exemption for the use of Spectral’s PMX cartridge in the treatment of patients with COVID-19. Spectral Medical stock popped 39% to $0.72 following the announcement.
Finally, Peeks Social Ltd. (TSXV:PEEK) shares gained 27% to $0.07 after the social network provider announced the launch of its new streaming service Mii.TV, a livestreaming service that allows individuals to socially interact and transact while physically isolated.
