Mexican drill results generated a bit of buying interest in shares of a silver junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 (as of 11:30 am EST):
Kootenay Silver Inc. (TSXV:KTN) shares climbed 13% to $0.445 on Wednesday after the silver junior announced assay results from three new drill holes at the Copalito silver-gold project in Mexico, which included 3.2 meters of 1,297 grams per tonne (g/t) silver.
As well, shares of Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. (TSXV:BAY) slid 25% to $0.09 as the junior explorer released results from Phase 1 of the 2020 diamond drill program at its Buckingham Gold Property in Virginia, which included 5.81 g/t gold over 6.29 metres.
New Placer Dome Gold Corp. (TSXV:NGLD), meanwhile, reported that it has begun its 3,500 metre reverse circulation discovery drill program at the Bolo gold-silver project in Nevada. New Placer Dome stock moved up 13% to $0.88 following the announcement.
Finally, Blackrock Gold Corp. (TSXV:BRC) shares jumped 14% to $1.03 after the gold explorer announced that Eric Sprott has agreed to invest C$5 million into the Company via a non-brokered private placement at a price of C$0.72 per unit.
