More than a few speculators took a shine to a silver junior Wednesday following channel sampling results from a new discovery zone. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
Silver Bull Resources, Inc. (TSX: SVB) shares surged 30% to $0.13 on Wednesday after the silver junior announced that it has identified a new zone of what it called “high-grade massive sulphide” at its Sierra Mojada Project in Mexico, with channel sampling results including 1130 g/t silver, 22% zinc, 3.26% lead, and 12.8% copper.
As well, shares of Redstar Gold Corp. (TSXV: RGC) slid 18% to $0.09 as the gold explorer revealed drill results from its 2017 Spring/Summer Exploration Program at the Unga Gold Project in Alaska, which included 2.2 metres of 9.9 g/t gold & 29.3 g/t silver.
SLAM Exploration Ltd. (TSXV: SXL), meanwhile, reported that it has acquired additional zinc mineral claims in the Bathurst Mining Camp of New Brunswick. SLAM Exploration stock popped 17% to $0.035 following the announcement.
