More than a few resource junior speculators took a shine to gold-copper drill results Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, October 19, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

Serengeti Resources Inc. (TSXV:SIR) shares continued to move higher on Friday, up 14% to $0.40 following a 133% gain on Thursday, after the resource junior announced the first batch of assay results from the 2018 drilling campaign completed at the Kwanika Project in British Columbia, which included 0.80 g/t gold, 0.64% copper, and 2.08 g/t silver over 513.9 metres.

As well, shares of exactEarth Ltd. (TSX:XCT) soared 128% to $0.57 as the provider of Satellite-AIS data services said the Government of Canada will make an investment of $7.2 million over three years to support the development, management and expansion of exactView RT, the Company’s real-time Satellite-AIS service.

Cordoba Minerals Corp. (TSXV:CDB), meanwhile, reported that it has closed its non-brokered private placement with its majority shareholder, High Power Exploration Inc., for gross proceeds to the Company totaling US$2.0 million. Cordoba Minerals stock moved up 12% to $0.14 following the announcement.
