Copper assays sparked investor interest in shares of a resource junior Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Libero Copper & Gold Corporation (TSXV:LBC) shares climbed 12% to $0.19 on Tuesday after the resource junior announced assay results from initial surface sampling at the Terry target at its Big Red Porphyry Gold-Copper Property in British Colombia’s Golden Triangle region, which included a 35 metre section where eight grab samples contained 5.54%, 5.46%, 3.44%, 2.07%, 1.38%, 1.26%, 0.79% and 0.63% copper, respectively.

As well, shares of Nighthawk Gold Corp. (TSX:NHK) sank 29% to $1.88 as the gold junior released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate on its 100% owned Indin Lake Gold Property in the Northwest Territories, which converted 82% of its resource into the Indicated category.

Crescita Therapeutics Inc. (TSX:CTX), meanwhile, reported that it is entitled to receive a one-time payment of US$3.9 million following an amendment to the development and commercialization agreement with Taro Pharmaceuticals Inc. with regard to Pliaglis in the United States. Crescita Therapeutics stock popped 26% to $0.58 following the announcement.

Finally, Avcorp Industries Inc. (TSX:AVP) shares powered 367% higher to $0.14 after the designer and builder of major airframe structures announced that it has been awarded contracts by BAE Systems for the assembly of the F-35 Carrier Variant Outboard Wing, valued at approximately C$87 million.
