Resource Junior Gains Ground on Gold Zone Discovery

A new Golden Triangle gold zone generated a bit of buying interest in shares of a resource junior Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, February 1, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

American Creek Resources Ltd. (TSXV:AMK) shares rose 20% to $0.03 on Friday after the resource junior announced that its JV partner, Tudor Gold, confirmed the presence of a new gold zone at Treaty Creek in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle district, which has been named “Goldstorm.”

As well, shares of Celestica Inc. (TSX:CLS) slid 19% to $10.58 as the company released its fourth-quarter 2018 financial results, which fell short of the analyst consensus for both revenue and earnings.

Sokoman Iron Corp. (TSXV:SIC), meanwhile, reported that it now owns a 100% interest in the Moosehead Gold Property in central Newfoundland, subject to a 2% NSR, having spent the required minimum of $500,000 in exploration expenditures as operator within the first year as per its option agreement with Altius Resources Inc. Sokoman Iron stock moved up as much as 7% following the announcement.
