A few speculators took a shine to a precious metals royalty stock Monday following gold drill results. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, August 17, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Altus Strategies Plc (TSXV:ALTS), a precious metals royalty stock, climbed 14% to $1.25 on Monday after announcing drill results from its Tabakorole gold project in Mali, which included 4.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 14.0 metres.

As well, shares of StageZero Life Sciences, Ltd. (TSX:SZLS) jumped 19% to $0.095 as the provider of early detection of multiple diseases through whole blood said it has received revenue of approximately $1 million in the six weeks following the end of its second quarter, and has signed multiple new partners.

Verde AgriTech Plc (TSX:NPK), meanwhile, reported second-quarter revenue that rose 87% year over year to $2.5 million, while swinging to a net profit of $443,525 from a net loss of $222,657 during the same period last year. Verde AgriTech stock moved up 9% to $0.74 following the announcement.

Finally, D-BOX Technologies Inc. (TSX:DBO) shares continued to move higher Monday, up 57% to $0.11 following a 75% gain on Friday, after the provider of immersive entertainment experiences announced that it has signed a new partnership agreement with Ubisoft, in which D-BOX’s motion technology will enable Ubisoft to create enhanced experiences for players.
