A billion dollar streaming and royalties acquisition deal boosted a precious metals royalty stock Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, June 5, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):
Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (TSX: OR), a precious metals royalty stock, gained 14% to $16.35 on Monday after announcing that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Orion Mine Finance Group to acquire a precious metals portfolio of assets consisting of 74 royalties, streams and precious metal offtakes for total consideration of C$1.125 billion, which consists of C$675 million in cash plus C$450 million in Osisko Gold Royalties common shares.
As well, shares of Radient Technologies (TSXV: RTI) slipped 15% to $0.62 as the extractor of natural compounds from a range of biological materials said it has successfully completed the Joint Venture Research Activity with Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSXV: ACB), confirming what it called the effectiveness of Radient’s proprietary MAP Technology and associated continuous flow design for extracting cannabinoids from dried cannabis.
BTL Group Ltd. (TSXV: BTL), meanwhile, reported that it is taking steps towards a go-to production phase on its Interbit platform, following the successful completion of its European energy trading pilot with BP, Eni Trading & Shipping and Wien Energie. The Company added that the pilot proved that Interbit can streamline many trading and back office processes across the energy trade lifecycle. BTL Group stock moved up 14% to $6.52 following the announcement.
Finally, LOOPShare Ltd. (TSXV: LOOP) shares jumped 30% to $0.13 after the provider of electric scooter shared fleet services and technology and E-Sharing Scooters announced the signing of a Transportation as a Service Field Trial Agreement to conduct a three-month field trial offering the Loop service in the city of Miami, Florida.
