Silver and gold drill results boosted shares of a precious metals junior Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, June 22, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

GR Silver Mining Ltd. (TSXV:GRSL) shares surged 21% to $0.47 on Monday after the precious metals junior announced drill results at its 100%-owned Plomosas Silver Project in Mexico, which included 23.9 metres at 3.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.

As well, shares of Theratechnologies Inc. (TSX:TH) climbed 19% to $3.04 as the biopharmaceutical company said it believes, based on new data, that its investigational sortilin 1 (SORT1)-targeting peptide-drug conjugate technology is “one of the most promising advances in the treatment of cancer in many years.”

Resverlogix Corp. (TSX:RVX), meanwhile, reported that the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted its BETonMACE2 clinical plan for treating chronic kidney disease as a registration enabling study. Resverlogix stock moved up 17% to $0.77 following the announcement.

Finally, Caldas Gold Corp. (TSXV:CGC) shares powered 18% higher to $2.35 after the junior explorer announced that it has signed a non-binding term sheet to receive total cash consideration of US$110 million a part of a Precious Metals Purchase Agreement with Wheaton Precious Metals International Ltd. Proceeds will be used to fund Caldas Gold’s Marmato Project in Colombia.
