Silver assay results from South American ignited shares of a precious metals junior Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
AbraPlata Resource Corp. (TSXV:ABRA) shares moved up 30% to $0.065 on Tuesday after the precious metals junior announced assay results from the first two diamond drill holes completed at the Oculto deposit on its wholly-owned Diablillos project in Argentina, which included a 17.5 metre intercept grading 603.9 grams per tonne (g/t) silver.
As well, shares of AutoCanada Inc. (TSX:ACQ) gained 15% to $12.71 as the multi-location North American automobile dealership group said it has achieved same-store new retail unit sales growth of 1.3% for Q4 2019, while reducing its total net indebtedness for the period by approximately $44 million.
Thermal Energy International Inc. (TSXV:TMG), meanwhile, reported a 51% increase in its second-quarter revenue to $2.6 million, while adding that its year-to-net income and EBITDA were the highest ever reported by the Company. Thermal Energy International stock moved up 13% to $0.085 following the announcement.
