Precious Metals Explorer Moves Up on Gold/Silver Assays

A few speculators took a shine to silver and gold assays from a precious metals explorer Monday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Monday, October 5, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):

Arizona Silver Exploration Inc. (TSXV:AZS) shares gained 19% to $0.35 on Monday after the precious metals explorer announced assay results from its Philadelphia gold-silver project in Arizona, which included 33.56 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 54.7 g/t silver over 2.35 metres.

As well, shares of Calfrac Well Services Ltd. (TSX:CFW) climbed 19% to $0.185 as Wilks Brothers, LLC said it has boosted its offer price for the Company to between $0.18 and $0.25 per share in cash.

MediPharm Labs Corp. (TSX:LABS), meanwhile, reported that it has signed an exclusive supply agreement with STADA, one of Europe’s leading consumer healthcare and generics companies, to provide medical cannabis products for the European pharma sector. MediPharm Labs stock moved up 16% to $0.97 following the announcement.

Finally, Predictiv AI Inc. (TSXV:PAI) shares jumped 13% to $0.30 after the artificial intelligence and industrial IoT markets solutions provider announced that its AI-enabled, thermal sensor temperature screening system, ThermalPass, has transitioned out of the prototype phase and into production planning and manufacturing go-to-market phase.
