Gold drill results tarnished shares of a precious metals explorer Tuesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Apex Resources Inc. (TSXV:APX) shares plummeted 61% to $0.135 on Tuesday after the precious metals explorer announced drilling results from the two 2019 diamond drill holes at its Ore Hill property in British Columbia. Of the 284 core sections assayed in the two drill holes, results ranged from less than detection up to 289.97 g/t gold over 0.30 metres.
As well, shares of Canfor Corporation (TSX:CFP) fell 18% to $12.77 as the integrated forest products company said its going private transaction agreement with Great Pacific Capital Corp. has been terminated.
Freckle Ltd. (TSXV:FRKL), meanwhile, reported the expansion of its consumer-led privacy application, Killi, into the Asia-Pacific region. Killi allows consumers to take back control of their digital identity from those who have been using it without their consent. Freckle stock moved up 10% to $0.055 following the announcement.
