NeutriSci International Inc. (TSXV:NU), a nutraceutical stock, got a lift after announcing a MOU to develop and distribute THC and CBD infused sublingual tablets
Appetizing cannabis news sparked a bit of speculation in a nutraceutical stock Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
NeutriSci International Inc. (TSXV:NU), a nutraceutical stock, climbed 44% to $0.13 on Wednesday after announcing that it has entered into a binding Memorandum of Understanding with Nutritional High International Inc. (CSE:EAT) to develop, manufacture and distribute THC and CBD infused sublingual tablets utilizing NeutriSci’s technology, proprietary ingredients and formulations.
As well, shares of VersaPay Corporation (TSXV:VPY) slid 15% to $2.25 as the financial technology company said its total operating expense for the first quarter of 2018 increased by 60% to $3.44 million.
Theralase Technologies Inc. (TSXV:TLT), meanwhile, reported that it has successfully completed its Phase Ib non-muscle invasive bladder cancer clinical study. Theralase Technologies stock popped 24% to $0.385 following the announcement.
Finally, Fintech Select Ltd. (TSXV:FTEC) shares gained as much as 17% before ending unchanged at $0.115 after the provider of pre-paid card programs, mobile banking solutions and cryptocurrency technologies announced that it has recorded a net profit of $986,000 during its first quarter of 2018.
