Further distribution into South America sparked interest in a TSXV marijuana stock Thursday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Thursday, January 25, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):

ICC Labs Inc. (TSXV:ICC), a marijuana stock, surged 26% to $1.83 on Thursday after announcing that the Ministry of Justice and Law of the Republic of Colombia has granted its wholly-owned subsidiary two licenses. ICC Labs is a fully-licensed producer and distributor of medicinal cannabinoid extracts, recreational cannabis and industrial hemp products in Uruguay.

As well, shares of TrackX Holdings Inc. (TSXV:TKX) gained 17% to $0.34 as the enterprise Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) software platform provider said a leading, household appliance manufacturer has selected TrackX to implement yard distribution and supply chain logistics solutions.

Hillcrest Petroleum Ltd. (TSXV:HRH), meanwhile, reported that it has signed an engagement agreement with Entoro Capital, LLC, headquartered in Houston, Texas,  to establish a digital or cryptocurrency Initial Coin Offering. The focus will be on an asset backed energy security coin offering for the Canadian energy market. Hillcrest Petroleum stock moved up 8% to $0.07 following the announcement.

Finally, Augusta Industries Inc. (TSXV:AAO) shares rose as much as 40% before ending the day unchanged at $0.025 after the company announced the creation of a wholly-owned subsidiary to begin the process of implementing Blockchain technology.
