A pending Nevada drill program sparked shares of a lithium junior Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
Noram Ventures Inc. (TSXV:NRM) shares shot up 50% to $0.165 on Wednesday after the lithium junior announced plans for Phase 5 drilling on the Zeus Lithium Project in Nevada’s Clayton Valley.
As well, shares of Guyana Goldfields Inc. (TSX:GUY) sank 46% to $0.365 as the gold miner said its Q4 2019 gold production fell 28% year over year and added that it anticipates ore production from its open-pit mining will be interrupted for between four and six months, starting in the second quarter of 2020.
Silver Viper Minerals Corp. (TSXV:VIPR), meanwhile, reported the latest batch of results from ongoing drilling at the La Virginia Gold-Silver Exploration Project in Mexico, which included 22.6 g/t gold and 1,431 g/t silver over 3.0 metres. Silver Viper Minerals stock moved up 4% to $0.40 following the announcement.
