Copper and gold production caught the eyes of more than a few junior miner speculators Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, April 13, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
K92 Mining Inc. (TSXV:KNT) shares continued to move higher on Friday, up 10% to $0.81 after the junior miner announced Thursday that it produced 9,324 ounces of gold and 165,976 pounds of copper during Q1 2018 at its Kainantu Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea.
As well, shares of Golden Star Resources Ltd. (TSX:GSC) rose 5% to $0.83 as the gold miner said it has more than doubled the Inferred Mineral Resources estimate for its Wassa Underground Gold Mine in Ghana to 5.2 million ounces of gold at 3.6 grams per tonne.
Saville Resources Inc. (TSXV:SRE), meanwhile, reported results of the recent prospecting and sampling completed throughout the Miranna Area in northern Quebec, which returned a peak niobium sample of 4.30% Nb2O5. Saville Resources stock moved up 6% to $0.085 following the announcement.
