More than a few investors were attracted to a junior gold miner Wednesday following the release of a Technical Report. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Victoria Gold Corp. (TSXV:VIT) shares rose 11% to $7.80 on Wednesday after the junior gold miner announced an updated Technical Report for its Eagle Gold Mine in the Yukon Territory, which showed a 20% increase gold reserves to 3.3 million ounces, with annual production estimated at 220,000 ounces at an All-in-Sustaining Cost of US$774 per ounce.

As well, shares of Khiron Life Sciences Corp. (TSXV:KHRN) climbed 10% to $0.98 as the Canadian cannabis company with operations in Latin America said it welcomes the announcement from the National Agency for Health Surveillance of Brazil, which establishes a legalized environment for the sale and consumption of cannabis for medical use. Brazil has a potential US$229 million patient network for medical cannabis and Khiron’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Dormul S.A based in Uruguay, gives the Company access to the Brazilian market through the Mercosur Regional Trading Bloc.

Tetra Bio-Pharma Inc. (TSXV:TBP), meanwhile, reported that it has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Orphan Drug Designation for delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. Tetra Bio-Pharma stock moved up 14% to $0.54 following the announcement.

Finally, NewNorth Projects Ltd. (TSXV:NNP) shares jumped 67% to $0.125 after the real estate development company announced that it has agreed to be acquired by Bordeaux Properties Inc. for $0.13 per share in cash.
