A few speculators gravitated towards a junior gold miner Friday following drill results. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, June 15, 2018 (as of 4 pm EST):
TMAC Resources Inc. (TSX:TMR) shares gained 14% to $6.20 on Friday after the junior gold miner announced exploration results from the 2018 drilling campaigns at both the Doris Mine and the Madrid North Deposit on its 100% owned Hope Bay Project in Nunavut, which included 261.4 g/t gold over 7.1 metres.
As well, shares of Orosur Mining Inc. (TSX:OMI) sank 43% to $0.04 as the South American-focused gold producer said Loryser S.A., its operating subsidiary, is seeking creditor protection in Uruguay.
Canada Goose Holdings Inc. (TSX:GOOS), meanwhile, reported that its fiscal 2018 revenue rose 46% to $591.2 million, while its net income increased to $96.1 million from $21.6 million during fiscal 2017. Canada Goose Holdings stock popped 30% to $78 following the announcement.
