A special dividend was well received by investors in a junior gold miner Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, September 11, 2020 (as of 4 pm EST):
Robex Resources Inc. (TSXV:RBX) shares jumped 17% to $0.445 on Friday after the junior gold miner announced that it will pay a special dividend of $0.04 per share on September 25, 2020, to shareholders of record at the market close on September 16, 2020.
As well, shares of Freegold Ventures Limited (TSX:FVL) slid 17% to $1.16 as the gold explorer released additional assay results from its Golden Summit Project in Alaska, which included 136 metres grading 1.02 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.
First Majestic Silver Corp. (TSX:FR), meanwhile, reported that Eric Sprott will make a C$78 million equity investment in the Company at a price of C$15.60 per share. First Majestic Silver stock moved up as much as 5% following the announcement.
