Underground drill results from an Ontario mine boosted shares of a junior gold miner Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 (as of 4 pm EST):

Wesdome Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX:WDO) shares climbed 14% to $2.04 on Wednesday after the junior gold miner announced recent underground drilling results from the ongoing drill program at its wholly-owned Eagle River Mine near Wawa, Ontario, which included 27.01 g/t gold (cut) over 10.42 metres true width.

As well, shares of Arena Minerals Inc. (TSXV:AN) fell 21% to $0.075 as the prospect generator said that both the Japan Oil Gas and Mineral National Corporation and Teck Chile Ltd have opted out of the respective joint venture agreements with the Company.

Identillect Technologies Corp. (TSXV:ID), meanwhile, reported the integration and development of a new security offering utilizing blockchain technology to maximize the audit log integrity of emails and address Man-in-the-Middle attacks. Identillect Technologies stock popped 164% to $0.185 following the announcement.
