Operational and financial results powered shares of a junior gold miner Friday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Friday, May 24, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):

Fiore Gold Ltd. (TSXV:F) shares climbed 9% to $0.295 on Friday after the junior gold miner announced a 68% increase in its second-quarter consolidated operating cash flow to US$2.87 million, while consolidated all-in-sustaining costs for the quarter improved to US$986 per ounce from US$1,052 during the same period last year.

As well, shares of Siyata Mobile Inc. (TSXV:SIM) rose 11% to $0.445 as the provider of cellular communications systems for enterprise customers said it has been working with Tier 1 US carrier sales teams in numerous jurisdictions and first responder counties in the United States, completing installations and trials, in which orders are expected upon commercial launch, which the Company added “is now imminently upon us.”

Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSX:BU), meanwhile, reported that it has entered into a joint venture partnership with an investor group to build a new C$65 million pea-protein and canola-protein commercial production facility in Western Canada. The protein production facility is planned to initially process approximately 20,000 tonnes of peas per year starting in mid-2020. Burcon NutraScience stock popped 51% to $1.13 following the announcement.
