Better-than-expected production results powered shares of a junior gold miner Wednesday. Here’s some small stocks making big moves on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 (as of 4 pm EST):
Centamin PLC (TSX:CEE) shares climbed 9% to $1.53 on Wednesday after the junior gold miner announced that its Sukari Gold Mine in Egypt produced 116,183 ounces of gold in the first quarter, at all in sustaining costs of US$898 per ounce sold, which was above the Company forecast of 105,000 to 115,000 ounces.
As well, shares of Internet of Things Inc. (TSXV:ITT) rose as much as 50% as the industrial IoT company said New Hope IoT Intl. Inc. has initiated a pilot program with FreePoint Technologies to provide real-time production monitoring solutions to New Hope Group portfolio companies.
Good Life Networks Inc. (TSXV:GOOD), meanwhile, reported that 495 Communications LLC, one of the Company’s digital properties, has signed on inMobi, a global mobile advertising platform that reaches over 1.5 billion unique mobile devices. Good Life Networks stock moved up 7% to $0.37 following the announcement.
